About
The story behind day-z
What is this?
Day-Z is a personal blog about cyber security, security research, reverse engineering and anything I find interesting at the time. It's a space for thoughts, experiments, and digital artifacts — built by hand with vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (with a little help from the robot!).
Why?
In a world where everything is being optomised for speed and efficiency (including our lives), this blog gives me a reason to slow down and a chance to properly process whatever I'm working on.
I work on some pretty cool projects, and in the past, I've never really documented any of it (apart from keeping technical notes). And, I now have somewhere to point people to when they ask me what I've been working on recently.
Who?
I'm an OffSec engineer/Penetration Tester by trade and have been hacking around on something or another since 2010.
I'm also just generally a bit of a geek, so who knows what might feature here at some point in future?! Microcontroller projects, 3D-Print projects, Zero-days? Who knows??
